A huge honour for 1Rifles and The Band and Bugles of The Rifles to be the first ever foreign regiment to play alongside the National Guard Cyprus Band!

Months of prep created the perfect match of Rifles tradition and Cypriot pride. We look forward to working together in the future!

This week the 1Rifles Regt Admin Team proudly lifted the Triple Crown Cup!

The AGC Triple Crown Challenge is an annual March and Shoot event for all AGC personnel in BFCyprus. First prize was presented by Provost Marshal Brigadier Pringle-Smith.

A fantastic joint BFCyprus event on island, lead by The Band and Bugles of The Rifles and the first Sounding Retreat in Cyprus from the 1st Bn.

1 Rifles hosted a Sounding The Retreat today. A celebration of military music and tradition. We were fortunate to work closely with our allies National Guard Cyprus. We were joined by Duke of Lancaster's, & Military Wives Choir, finishing with the mass band lead by The Band and Bugles of The Rifles

Congratulations to the 14 Riflemen from 1 RIFLES that passed and had the privilege of meeting the Queen.

Members of the Bn attended 1 Duke of Lancaster's leadership day, guests were Sir Howard Morrison KCMG CBE KC, Dame Emily Lawson DBE and Dean Richards. Rfn got to find out how leadership is used in the international criminal court, the NHS, Rugby and how that translates across to the Army

To celebrate our diversity, today we hosted an international food day. Our Rfn enjoyed traditional food from the Carribbean Islands, Fiji, Nepal, Ghana & Zimbabwe.

Congratulations to Sjt Lewis for an exceptional performance this season! Racing for InfantryAlpineSkiing securing🥈 in the Individual Champs, then racing at the Army Champs where the Inf took🥇. He then raced for the Army Alpine Team securing🥈 at the interservice champs.

Despite not having many opportunities for Battalion Rugby in Cyprus, 1 RIFLES has had 10 players represent the Infantry. Five of our players were a part of the team that beat the RAC 47-12 in the first game. The return fixture saw another convincing 36-0 win at Harpenden RFC.

1 Rifles Rugby Team has won the first of 4 legs in the Cyprus 7s Champs! They were undefeated in the group stage, and then proceeded to win the final against Limassol Crusaders.
