Airmen from the 459th AS participated in a training exercise with the 1st Battalion Landing Team of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit at CATC Camp Fuji, aiming to enhance interoperability between the Marine Corps and the Air Force.

Airmen from Yokota & Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson participated in #AgileReaper24 , an exercise at Tinian Island, that aimed at enhancing and maintaining the rapid and agile deployment capabilities in the Indo-Pacific region. The C-130J transported personnel to the island.

Members of the 36th Airlift Squadron from Yokota Air Base participated in the joint military exercise #TigerTRIUMPH24 , which took place in Visakhapatnam, India, from March 18-31, exercising responsiveness and interoperability for humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.

Airmen from Yokota Air Base flew through the Bay of Bengal while participating in #TigerTRIUMPH24 with the Indian military in Visakhapatnam, India. TigerTRIUMPH24 is an amphibious exercise that strengthened humanitarian assistance and disaster relief responses.

April is the #MonthOfMilitaryChild , a month to express gratitude to military children. At Yokota Air Base, we celebrated Month of the Military Child by creating #MOMC patches and painting them on our C-130J Super Hercules.

Approximately 100 Yokota Middle and High Schoolers recently came out to learn all about aviation for Fly Girls 2024.

Starting this year, there will be changes to the disabled vehicles application for the Japan-US Friendship Festival scheduled to be held on May 18th and 19th.
Applications will only be accepted until 23:59 on Friday, March 22nd and are accepted only by email.
