1/ Just want to put this news in plain language for people.

Senior people at Twitter have resigned in the last 48 hours. We now now why. They said in private Slack channels that Elon Musk is so desperate to recoup his money, he’s taking crazy risks with YOUR privacy and safety.

The latest Trump tirade is directed towards a NYT story highlighting Trump's midterm losses and the distancing of Republicans from the former president. Trump said the people quoted in the story were 'enemies and losers.' Those were the people quoted in the story.

Over on Truth Social, Donald Trump is referring to Kayleigh McEnany, Mike Cernovich, Elise Stefanik, Jim Banks, Peter King, and J.D. Vance as 'enemies and losers.'

I continue to wonder if Rick Scott will face blow back b/c he so clearly placed his personal interest in courting Trump for future ambitions over the party interest in maximizing strong Senate candidates by refusing to resist the, er, eccentric nominees Trump was imposing.

not a great election for McConnell either. among other things, his Supreme Court victories turned into an exploding cigar

Remember that Tim Ryan made McConnell spend $40m to rescue JD and save OH. That’s money McC would rather have spent in PA, AZ, NV, GA. What Tim did had a tremendous impact even tho he lost. Tim’s the best and I loved making ads for him.

Watters: McConnell spent close to 400 million on these Senate candidates. So either some of these candidates are garbage or the money is not being well spent. But Trump is sitting on a massive war chest, where did that money go?

Stephen Miller just attacked Mitch McConnell for “blackballing” Blake Masters in Arizona. The race has not been called yet. But the fact that Stephen Miller is preemptively expressing outrage at the election results suggests that Senator Mark Kelly is on track to defeat Masters.
