With another daring raid, the crew of HMS Trent and the Marines of 47 Commando (Raiding Group) Royal Marines are continuing to dismantle the operations of criminal drug traffickers.

Having now seized hundreds of millions in drugs, I thank all those involved for helping to keep illegal drugs off British streets.

Deployed on Ex #SteadfastDefender24 , 7 (Sphinx) Battery from 29 Commando Royal Artillery have conducted a ship-to-shore move as part of the Armoured Support Group from Commando Logistic Regiment, with their 105mm Light Guns in tow.

These Royal Marines of the Surveillance and Reconnaissance Squadron (SRS) are often the first on the ground, often operating far behind enemy lines. They are the eyes of the UK Commando Force. Filmed in Norway as part of #SteadfastDefender24 #NordicReponse24 🇳🇴

After the discovery of a World War 2 500lbs bomb in a garden in #Plymouth , Commando Sappers from 24 Cdo RE Corps of Royal Engineers with members of 47 Commando (Raiding Group) Royal Marines and 30 Cdo's Police Troop were on hand to support its removal and safe disposal at sea, with 11 EOD & Search Regiment and Devon & Cornwall Police.

Over the past two years, specialist instructors from the Royal Marine Commandos trained their Ukrainian counterparts in planning and carrying out raids by day and night using small boats. #StandWithUkraine
