Two nights on Snowdonia ridges watching spring appear. Smart wheatears, just arrived from central Africa. Carneddau pony foals, still tiny & unsteady. With ring ouzels, merlin, & many skylarks too, little could be better than waking up on coastal hills in April/May.

First time I've been so excited to run a challenging route. Mostly because it was a whole day on Kinder and some of the routes up and down were new to me.
