On Monday 4/15 our electricity was out as we upgraded our service. All is well after 1pm. Thanks AEP and Herrman & Goetz.

The MI Public Service Commission is losing patience with the high costs of electricity from AEP Rockport coal-fired power plant. Scheduled to close in 2028, the plant keeps polluting and losing money. But it needs the income to pay off its bond debt.

With the help of Columbus Blue Jackets and Columbus City Schools, local students were able to put their hockey and #STEM skills to the test. Students took concepts they've learned about in the classroom like velocity, force and kinetic energy, and applied them on the ice.
