Another Wright Field project, now Air Force Research Lab - AFRL & Air Force Life Cycle Management Center.
Work in this area went back to the “Kettering Bug” of WWI, which mostly taught the Army Air Service/Corps/Force that preprogramming/auto control wasn’t accurate & active radio control was necessary
