I was, I guess like 11 when OJ Simpson got acquitted and I spoke to a criminal defense attorney who explained the presumption of Innocence to me at a party, and how important it is.

It hugely influenced my life.

Body cameras are very useful in criminal defense. You usually find something helpful. When you don't, it's easier to persuade your client to plead out.

OJ Simpson's biggest legacy was giving people the impression that guilty people are acquitted due to shifty defense lawyers, when the lesson should have been that many prosecutions do not hold up to public scrutiny.

No criminal defendant — however innocent — wants “his day in court to clear his name.” Juries are unpredictable and anyone facing a felony conviction would much prefer to avoid a trial entirely!

Let’s not forget everything we know about criminal law just because it’s Trump.
