Great paper, depressing results. These are the real public health problems; out of sight, out of mind.

We need to get the policy and public health agenda back to where it matters. Tobacco control activists need to stop terrifying people about safer alternatives to smoking.

NSW police clearly not keen on new ‘low priority’ vape ban and worried about black market fuelling organised crime.

Only 10 NSW Health compliance officers to police a state wide black market worth more than $600 million.

This is a serious policy failure on so many levels.

Another case where the gulf between tobacco control sociopathy and public health empathy is all too visible. Of course, the distinction is aggressively ignored by Guardian Australia.

Quitting smoking is really important. Great way to improve health, feel better, saves lots of $$s & reduce economic inequality. But some are unable others unwilling to quit. Vaping helps both of these & risks are very small, much much less than smoking
