Rules for thee, not for me. The motto of our DA. Today with CLEAT we sent a letter to the Travis County District Attorney about serious violations of state law that his office has ignored - releasing confidential information about police officers in violation of state law.

I’m honored to announce that Ofc. Driskill is our employee of the week! 🏆🚔Ofc. Driskill secured first place in the 2024 DPS Commercial Vehicle Challenge, which was held in Waco. We are proud to have him in APD! 👏💪 Best of luck as he progresses to the State competition.

48 years ago today in 1976 the 55th Cadet Class graduated & was sworn in, including: Sandra K. Christensen, Penny A. Hubert, and Eunice E. Slaughter. They were the FIRST fully commissioned female police officers at the Austin Police Department.
