I appointed Adama Dieng Adama Dieng of #Senegal as the first African Union Special Envoy for Prevention of the Crime of #Genocide And Other Mass Atrocities. As AU Special Envoy,Mr Dieng will drive the AU Agenda to combat the ideology of Hate & Genocide on the Continent

I joined West African leaders and thousands of Senegalese for the Inauguration ceremony in #Dakar today of H.E. President Bassirou Diomaye Faye as the fifth president of the Republic of #Senegal .

I was shocked to learn of the horrific terror attack in #Moscow , claiming many victims. Our deepest condolences to the bereaved families and in solidarity with the people & Government of the Russian Federation following this heinous attack that we condemn in the strongest terms.
