Every time I think I've experienced the worst, most incompetent systems for submitting a manuscript, some other journal manages to find a way to make their submission system *even* worse. Hour 3 of trying to submit this bloody manuscript...

I estimate that that 10% of my time dealing with revisions from coauthors on a manuscript draft reflect actually addressing comments. The other 90% of the time is waiting to scroll through the document because Word is absolute hot trash with tracked changes.
