Malaysia Airlines received its first 737-8 airplane today, adorned with a striking new livery featuring a songket motif that pays tribute to the country's vibrant cultural heritage.

'Luke and his orange pilot suit getting into his X-wing was very similar to Bubba in his race suit climbing into his rocket ship of a car. We thought, how fun would it be if we used that similarity as a way to promote the Star Wars collaboration?'

One of our gates got transformed into Mickey’s Toontown to welcome Mickey Mouse back on one of Alaska Airlines’ planes. The “Mickey’s Toontown Express” begins flying commercially tonight with a round-trip turn to Orange County out of Seattle.

Say hello to Mickey’s Toontown Express! We teamed up with Disneyland Resort on our new specially-themed aircraft (the cutest in our fleet, if we do say so ourselves). Keep your eyes on the skies to see Mickey Mouse and pals flying to Mickey’s Toontown and beyond.

Allegiant Air seems to have ordered more Boeing 737 MAXs.

From their new press release, “Allegiant has agreed to purchase up to 130 Boeing 737-7 and 737-8-200 models in a multi-year deal” (firm/options unclear).

The previously known order is 100 737 MAXs (50 firm + 50 options).
