Increasing costs is a significant challenge at a time when the SW Land division is facing climate change-related impacts; In 2023 there were many locs with record max temps for September & record or near record dry seasonal conditions - particularly in the northern Ag region.

Qu; how do we help renters with the energy transition? Panel Ans. ; can’t make energy policy in isolation; we also need to develop our housing policy. Need to share the win with everyone, e.g. solar for strata incentives, ev chargers in strata but also need regs on landlords.
