The govt is a majority shareholder in our unique JV partnership via Ministry for Primary Industries & they're matching every dollar our agribusiness shareholders invest. This will see us invest at least $165M over the next 4 years to accelerate development of tools & tech to reduce emissions on-farm.
We’re so pleased to be working with Synlait as one of our founding shareholders, alongside ANZCO, Ministry for Primary Industries Rabobank New Zealand Ravensdown Silver Fern Farms & Fonterra. Together, we are driven by an ambition to accelerate the reduction of agricultural emissions by 30% by 2030.
We are a world-first partnership between agribusiness and Government and we’re focussed on getting tools into farmers hands to rapidly reduce on‑farm emissions - by 30% by 2030 and near-zero by 2040.
