Due to the erratic supply of canal water & the long canal closures at the tail end of the Punjab canal network in Abohar tehsil - literally 100's of new tubewells have been set up. It's an enfolding nightmare.

On my farm - half the Pipal tree is dead. It was probably this big even when my father was born.

I have never seen such happen before. I pray the leaves sprout. Something is fundamentally changing & humanity is still not able to grasp the enormity of it all.

There is a peculiar wheat 🌾 lifting problem - truck drivers are asking for ₹ 3-4 per bag extra in Punjab mandis. It's something that started in the last 3 years. Do the maths.

Peach 🍑 आड़ू tree - weekly spraying with plain water to get an optimum fruit size.

On the farm. Channa Gram has been cut by hand - is drying in the sun - to be threshed in a few days.

Have been back at harvesting since 6.30am. This morning it is जौ Barley - due to its soft kernel it's better to use a harvester when there's a little moisture in the air & not in the afternoons. Life goes on.

Many enlightenment souls teach us to live the moment. It's exactly that, it's past 10 pm, finishing the wheat harvest.
