A lot of countries ban animals, or wild animals, from circuses. The training, confining + performing they do aren't natural, and can harm them physically and emotionally. This circus has been cited by the feds 100+ time but is still allowed to operate.

Unclear if 911 services has been restored statewide or just in Pennington County.

The Dept of Public Safety is aware of a 911 service interruption throughout the state. Texting to 9-1-1 is operating in most locations. If these methods are not working in your location, citizens can still reach their local police and county sheriff offices - - - (see comments)

Dispatch in SD can apparently see who is calling but can’t connect/pick up. So they are calling people back who might be having a real emergency.

Don’t make a “test call” to see if the system is working again, you’re slowing down help for those who need it.
