Was pretty awesome seeing a McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle “buzzing” ALB a few times this afternoon.

Anyone else see or hear the F-15 as it was conducting training in the area?

The F-15 is a twin-engine, all-weather aircraft with a top speed of 1,928 mph!

💐 ALB is home to some of the most beautiful flowers and plants thanks to Master Gardener Judy Stacey and her talented team at the airport.

Today is #NationalGardeningDay and we’re grateful for their vision, dedication and hard work in beautifying ALB each year.

✈️ Whether it’s the roar of jet engines or the humming of propellers overhead, we know there’s always another reason to be looking up at the sky.

When you’re lucky enough to be traveling but not lucky enough to witness the #eclipse2024 from outdoors - we got you.

If you’re traveling, be sure to stop by and see us in the terminal just up the hall from, “Lubber,” the red cedar ball created in 1994 by artist Dean Snyder.

We can confirm there was a special visitor at ALB at approximately 10:23 this morning.

All kidding aside, the airport continues to operate as normal and there has been no impact to air service as a result of the recent earthquake. All flights are departing and arriving on time.

🏀 This afternoon Iowa Women's Basketball - NCAA Albany Regional Champions - departed ALB following their win last night in downtown Albany that advanced them to the Final Four.

It was our pleasure to assist with their travel & wish them all the best in their upcoming game against UConn Women’s Basketball.
