You recommend people, they soil your name. You bring up opportunities, they go behind you to renegotiate. Same people will be mute with opportunities until you jam at interview, you on the last minute, they well prepared.

In a generation so fascinated with making quick money & fast fame, you don’t know the value of a good name & a sound health, until that’s all you have left to build from scratch again.

When I finally understood this, it changed everything for me.

Create boundaries around the most important things in your life, starting with you. Stop letting random people have access into your intimate spaces, just so they can demystifying you & leave.

You get to a certain age, you need to start having constructive conversations with the people that you love & respect when y’all don’t agree/fall out, instead of ghosting or silent treatment. You have grown old, now it’s time for you to grow up.
