This morning, our Riverkeeper Trey testified to Council of DC to share our deep concerns about the 2025 draft fiscal budget that sweeps over $2.2M in Bag Fee funds from the Anacostia River Clean Up Fund.

Action alert! The draft fiscal 2025 budget before the DC Council sweeps nearly all the $2M in bag fee money from the Anacostia River Clean Up Fund that funds critical programs including boat tours. Tell DC Council that the 5-cent Bag Fee belongs to the Anacostia River.
