A4 using choice boards or playlists is a wonderful way to provide students with agency over their learning. When students feel like they have a voice in their learning they’re instantly more motivated. Plus utilizing tools like playlists allows for differentiation #NISDedchat

A3 It is all about class culture!! I would tell my students not everyone experiences success at the same time and setbacks are what make us stronger. We would celebrate small wins, growth is growth. I would also share times I had personal setbacks and overcame them.

A2 Definitely goal setting, I found when my students took ownership of their goals they were instantly more motivated. I used reading and math trackers and we’d celebrate when they achieved a goal.

Perfect offline/online station. Students in Ms.Aguirre’s Mead Elementary are taking a picture of sounds they have been taught and recording themself in Seesaw using the sound. An extension would be drawing or taking a picture of something in the room with the same sound. #NISDcoach
