Watching the police at Columbia I can't help but think of something Dana R Fisher, PhD (on sky, threads, etc) told me about how it's often violence, particularly over-the-top state violence, that motivates the masses to change. Depressing and scary. These kids are so brave, but they shouldn't need to be.
