I’m grateful that both the Assembly and Senate budget proposals include advancements toward the Working Families Tax Credit but now is the time to get this across the finish line and have the WFTC in its entirety included in the final budget!

My office is in contact with the 112th Precinct about a reported bomb threat at the Bryant building of Parker Towers located at 104-20 Queens Boulevard, an evacuation was made out of an abundance of caution.

It’s estimated that the WFTC would result in a 13.4% & 19.6% reduction among children living in poverty & deep poverty respectively

Honored to chair today’s budget hearing w/ Senator Liz Krueger. Topics included social services, children & families, veterans benefits, supporting seniors and more, but one thing was clear: NY cannot succeed unless workers are supported. That is why 2024 will be the #YearOfTheWorkforce .

Stood today with NYSAC to call on New York to #RescueEMS .

Emergency services are essential and need to be treated as such. That's why I introduced legislation to fairly compensate ambulance providers, and proudly support legislation from my colleagues to do the same.
