Prisons are filled to the brim with people who committed non-violent crimes. Most of them drug-related, many of them simple possession and first-time offenses. Harsh mandatory minimums for drug-related crimes are often longer than violent crimes. It was designed to enslave.

People are literally getting snatched off the street and thrown into unmarked vans by unidentifiable federal agents. It's not just unhinged tweets and toothless rhetoric. The man is actively stripping away our freedoms.
