New details on the animated Avatar movie have been revealed. The film will be titled Aang: The Last Airbender and Eric Nam has been cast to play the adult Aang while Dave Bautista will be playing the villain. So far, things are looking really promising for this.

Paramount just showed off the logo for Transformers One. It does make me wonder when they're gonna drop the first trailer for the film though I suspect very soon. Hopefully, it looks promising.

If there's one thing I've noticed in the trailer for the second season of Smiling Friends, it's really how incredible the animation is and how it's really stepped up from the first season. It also just looks hilarious and I loved the first season a lot so I'm hyped for more.

Don Hertzfeldt has revealed in an interview that his next project will be a major existential animated horror movie alongside working with Ari Aster. Already, the idea of Hertzfeldt and Aster working together has me sold and I am eagerly awaiting to see the magic they bring.

Considering the announcement yesterday, I figured I'd share concept art from each of the four Toy Story films. I'm gonna be very curious to see concept art of the fifth film once that comes out in two years.

Pixar has officially announced the release date for Toy Story 5. The film is due to come out on June 19, 2026. I won’t lie when I say I’m not convinced we need another Toy Story as a fifth film seems excessive, but I do have hope that Pixar can make this work. We’ll see.

Production workers at DreamWorks Animation have successfully voted to join the Animation and Editors Guilds today. This is definitely great news to hear, especially given the turbulent situation at DreamWorks and I'm glad to see more animation studios getting unionized.

A new animated film has been announced from Point Grey and Julia Louis-Dreyfus called Tangles about a mother who is diagnosed with Alzheimer's. It will also star Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Abbi Jacobson, Bryan Cranston, Samira Wiley, Beanie Feldstein, Seth Rogen, Wanda Sykes, and more.

The pencil test of Beast's transformation in Beauty and the Beast is so stunning to look at each and every time. Glen Keane admitted he was influenced by Michelangelo's work when making this and you can see it very clearly.

I am always inspired by the art that Maurice Noble made over the years for Looney Tunes shorts and his work with Chuck Jones. His unique production design in animation is so influential and really has shaped the look of a lot of animated projects over the years.

I really hope that by the end of this year, we really put an end to these shows and film getting taken off of streaming and written off for good cause what the studios are doing is so unethical and disgusting that it just infuriates me and makes me feel bad for the artists.

I'm so tired of this. So, so tired of studios pulling their projects off of streaming and pretending they don't exist. Just annoyed, angry, and tired.

The Spider Within is a fantastic animated short film. While it makes for an excellent addition into the Spider-Verse story, its portrayal of the struggles with mental health is truly powerful as the visuals are really scary. It makes me want these animators tackle a horror film.

DreamWorks has officially confirmed they are making The Bad Guys 2! The cast and crew of the first film have been confirmed to return for the sequel which will be released on August 1, 2025! I absolutely adored the first film so I am hyped to see more with these characters!
