Yesterday during #FMQs , I asked Humza Yousaf what his government was doing to protect Glasgow’s cultural landscape after it was announced this year’s Aye Write book festival was cancelled due to its funding bid being rejected.

Today at #FMQs , Douglas Ross pressed Humza Yousaf about law-abiding people being recorded by police. Humza’s Hate Crime Act will prevent police from tackling actual crimes and its enforcement depends entirely on subjective judgements and murky definitions.

These reckless plans should never have seen the light of day.

SNP-Green Councillors continue to be hopelessly out of touch with businesses in our city.

They should go further and scrap these punitive parking charges altogether.
