After 7 years, we said goodbye to our colleague and friend Roberto 🐟 today. We are sad to see you leave, but wish you all the best for your next adventure and all the exciting research you will be doing. The only good thing about goodbyes: Nadine's cakes 🍰

We had a lot of fun celebrating carnival this year: Hogwarts 🧙‍♂️🪄 vs. Death Eaters 🐍! After a magical breakfast, the lab joined the annual MPI AGE carnival party.

We are very proud that our talented postdoc Tin (Tin Nguyen) has been awarded a postdoc fellowship from Humboldt-Stiftung to study how metabolism and metabolites affect diapause lifespan and rejuvenation in C. elegans. Looking forward to exciting new insights! 🪱🦠🧪
