Today, Dept of Nursing and Midwifery, UL is hosting the Bridging Generations ‘Intergenerational Discussion Cafe’. This idea is used as a means to increase intergenerational learning between older people and student nurses. We welcome our guests that have come from all over the mid-west to attend.

On Friday 8th March, DNM hosted a workshop for 3rd year BSc Nursing (General) students ' on Chronic Disease Management - Meeting the Experts from Rheumatology, Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Dermatology'. We would like to thank our guest speakers who attended the event in UL.

The Department of Nursing and Midwifery are delighted to launch this year's Summer camp, aimed at 4th, 5th and 6th year students who would like to pursue nursing or midwifery as a career. We would invite interested applicants to get in touch with [email protected].

Clinical Skills Coordinator Mairéad Hussey recently facilitated a Lunchtime Learning session to faculty on SureWash Go, a portable training system used to deliver assessment-based hand hygiene training and infection prevention & control (IPC) education.
