A Vote Leave promise: โ€œThere is a European free trade zone from Iceland to the Russian border and we will be part of it.โ€ Post-Brexit, we are not part of it, as you know. And there are Brexiters trying to tell you it was never promised either.

Brexit would never have happened if public service anti-union ballot laws imposed by the Tories on teachers, rail workers, nurses, etc had applied.

The 51.9% Out vote on a 72.2% turnout was only 37.5% of the electorate, below the 40% threshold demanded for workers to strike.

Itโ€™s time to confront a hard truth: Brexit isnโ€™t working. Itโ€™s had a detrimental effect in our capital and across our country.

We need a shift from the extreme, hard Brexit we have now to a workable version that serves our economy and people.

Everyone defending Cummings would be baying for blood if Labour had won the election, Corbyn was PM in this crisis, & Seamus Milne had been caught breaking the lockdown.
UK politics is now as tribal as US - facts don't matter, only blind allegiance to the tribe. It's tragic.

Bank of England's 'scenario' for UK in 2020 shows a sharp contraction: -14%. Much worse than countries in the Euro area.

European Commission forecast for Eurozone GDP in 2020 is -7.4%, where the worst estimate belongs to Greece with -9.7%. Germany is forecast at -6.5%.

We are facing an economic crisis that is even worse than the 2008-2009 financial crisis.

The last thing we need is to crash out of the single market with a hard Brexit or no deal Brexit in 2021.

The transition period must be extended.

Panel also says British press interpretation of comments by foreign leaders in Brexit negotiations, for example, are out of step with how same comments covered in that countryโ€™s national press.

Can we take a second to acknowledge the courage and brilliance of Gina Miller? She has changed the course of UK history, in the face of relentless attacks, threats and abuse. We owe her so much.
