This response to a councilman's PSA is a perfect example of why New York's anti-smoke shop rhetoric isn't working on the most important demographic: consumers. For many, legality is irrelevant to legitimacy. Quality and— arguably to a greater extent— convenience are the draws.

Look at the frat boys in the background screaming, mocking, flipping her off, waving American flags.

The hate—all because she and others are protesting against genocide—really sticks out.

Yeah, the NYPD deployed a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle to aid in the crack down on peaceful, unarmed student protesters. These are military vehicles designed specifically to withstand improvised explosive device (IED) attacks & ambushes. What a joke.

A few questions for researchers: How would Schedule III help your ability to research the health effects of cannabis? More funding available? Better supply? More general interest from universities and pharma companies?
