There is a black box warning on low dose vaginal estrogen (VE) products. See below. It states, 'warning: endometrial cancer, cardiovascular disorders, probable dementia.' Low dose VE has NEVER been show to cause any of the above.

This aggressively lazy, harmful, and false black box warning fills me with rage every time I think about it. It is evidence that the FDA couldn’t give less of a shit about the well-being of women, particularly aging women

Getting rid of EMTALA, which the Supreme Court seems poised to do, means that if you show up to an ER bleeding to death from a car accident, the hospital can decide if you look rich enough to save.

Menopause specialist endorsed it when I asked. Just skipped the “loading up” daily dose phase to keep dose low.

This doctor's advocacy, and corroboration from personally known MDs, are the reason I tried this med with life restoring results. People should not be frightened away from it by obsolete, inaccurate warnings.

5 weeks into my patient care phase of medical school, and I've already spoken with so many patients for whom vaginal estrogen has been a game changer, especially helpful for avoiding UTI's while on SGLT2i for heart failure and diabetes!
