Wonderful to celebrate Space and Earth science as well as our shared work in human space flight in my former stomping grounds!

The crew met some of the youngest members of the Artemis Generation, pre-kindergartners from the NASA Goddard Child Development Center, as part of their visit.

A few words about the mission in our words, as shared on the Today Show. Great conversation and chance to meet many from all over the country!

Every time I do STEM outreach, I leave feeling sure that I got more out of it than the students.  No exception last week when we got to share some space design demos with students after the NASA Artemis II crew announcement.  Thank you!!

You stood.  All of you.

You stood for taking on the challenge. For doing things that are hard. For exploring together.

Of all the things we did last week to introduce Artemis II, this unexpected standing ovation was the moment I realized—You’re all behind this.

We are going.

This week, we got a new crew, a new mission. And, we reaffirmed our forever crew and mission—an NASA Astronauts Corps that lifts each other up to be our best for human exploration.

Long overdue reunion! Delayed 3 yrs, our Expedition 60-61 NASA crew received spaceflight medals and reflected on the privilege of serving, alongside our families.

We took a moment to do our favorite on-orbit tradition, the Huggle! (It’s a little more fun when you’re floating.)

For , we see how crews on International Space Station with multiple women are finally becoming common. Why’s this matter? To me, it’s making more successful missions and a world where people with a dream work equally hard to reach that dream. Here’s to my own astro sisters!

Stepping onto the rocket, stepping off the planet.

Four years ago today, we set off as a crew to the International Space Station and as part of a huge team committed to exploration for the benefit of Earth.
