I’ve worked on humanitarian issues many times in my career, so I really enjoyed exchanging insights with Deike Potzel, 🇩🇪 Special Envoy for Humanitarian Issues in the Middle East. 🇩🇪&🇦🇺 are close partners in responding to 🌏 humanitarian challenges, including now in the Pacific.

Last night beautiful music filled the Embassy when the talented young musicians of the Melbourne String Ensemble played a mix of 🇩🇪 & 🇦🇺 works including pieces by First Nations composers. A wonderful way to start my engagement with Australians involved in the German arts scene.
