Here are 4 geothermal pools we visited last week (apologies for all the mugshots! 😂) - it was pretty blissful 🥵 (cold pool edition to follow! 🥶) Guðlaug, Sky Lagoon, Gamla Laugin, and Hvammsvík Hot Springs, which we timed carefully (but badly as it turned out!) for the tide 😂

After RÚV English's Darren bravely climbed the Akranesviti, we finally had some decent weather to go up ourselves. Not as clear as some of the rest of last week, but still we loved it, we had it to ourselves so we sang our hearts out to enjoy the fabulous acoustics! 🎶🚨 #Iceland

Finally remembered to take a slow-mo of Strokkur! I find #Iceland 's geysirs endlessly fascinating, that so much energy is down there, endlessly powering them, but Strokkur is without doubt the most impressive - but even 'the churn' couldn't hold a candle to Geysir in its day 🤩💦

Took this one for you, La Vie en Prose 🇫🇷🇪🇺🏴‍☠️! From the viewing platform of Lava Centre, we were SO lucky, such an incredibly clear day, we could see all 5 volcanic systems visible from there with no cloud cover, it was AMAZING! And ofc I can't see Hekla & not think of you & Ellie! 🌋📚

Yesterday I picked up my American pal & we went to FlyOver Iceland (stunning!) the Næturvaktin @braudogco (yummy!), met lovely Dr Bryony Mathew, infamous Travel Man/Somebody Feed Phil restaurant Sægreifinn (also yummy!) & the Rvk Spa (as seen in Zac Efron Down to Earth) - fab day!

Had a somewhat fraught start to my trip Sunday, but luckily I'm a dab hand at consoling myself! First stop Omnom Chocolate, and then went on to the Sky bar to meet leah & Bergþór Jónsson, so all's well that ends well! #Iceland
