Breakfast is live BBC Radio 3 from Maida Vale where BBC Singers will Ding Dong and tell of King Herod as well as singing our Carol Competition winners. Plus Andras Schiff on his birthday, a Christmas concerto by Manfredini, and Schubert from Sabine Mayer (and seven friends).
Benjamin Zephaniah died earlier this month, aged 65. The poet had been diagnosed with a brain tumour only eight weeks ago. Last year he shared his life story, his passion for language and his love for people with Ian McMillan on the Verb (and there's plenty of his wonderful verse).
