Fire restrictions in the Central Coast Field Office have been lifted, however vehicle access for the #PanocheHills SRA is still prohibited to protect the endangered blunt nosed leopard lizards and protect and preserve ongoing scientific studies.

Starting as early as tomorrow, Bakersfield Field Office plans to conduct #prescribedfire operations of up to 1,000 piles of downed hazard trees and brush at Case Mountain, southeast of Three Rivers in Tulare County, to prevent wildfire risk.

🌄Our Eagle Lake Field Office was proud to participate in a historic moment this week, when an 88-acre parcel of land in Lassen County was transferred from Chico State Enterprises to the Susanville Indian Rancheria. It was the first such transfer of its kind!
