I respect your words! Nitpicking for catchers that are making a living doing it is important over the course of a season and or a career. A little something here or a little something there. I may be at fault nitpicking a little to much as Im not an advocate of KD!

First key would be in a standard setup your rotation is quicker and more balanced either way. With KD less movement (slower) only coming from top half. Very little movement from bottom half. Overall less athleticism, mobility and range.

An example of poor prospect evaluation. This is happening now with Gavin Lux. Do we remember Dave Roberts announced Lux as the starting SS in December of 23’ without any competition in ST. How did that workout?
