A huge thank you to Tina Bains from Barratt Developments who made a donation of £5,000 to our charity. She came to visit our offices last week to see the work that we do and meet our team. Her support is going to go a long way to helping vulnerable new families in Northamptonshire.

We currently have 34 outstanding referrals - that’s 34 new-mums-to-be and their babies that need our help now. But we have a huge shortfall of the items listed. Donations enable us to continue to provide our vital newborn starter packs to families in Northants.

A HUGE thank you to our trustee Becky and her daughters who held a bake and craft sale in their front garden at the end of the Easter holidays. Olivia, Katie and Grace baked 150 cakes and worked hard to promote and run the sale. They managed to raise an amazing £357!

Please consider nominating our charity! £5,000 would make a huge difference to vulnerable mums and their newborn babies. The more nominations we get, the greater chance of us winning!

We often get asked what we’re in need of for our starter packs. These are all the items that go into one of our lovely moses baskets. And we’re currently in need of them all!

Earth Day: We’re proud to be a charity that champions pre-loved and minimises environmental waste. This year we are trying to secure funding to buy eco-friendly packaging and reduce disposable plastic. Tell us one thing you’ll change this year to show your love for our Earth? 🌍

Our team had a fantastic morning at Northampton General Hospital 💙 Maternity Roadshow. A great event which showcased the incredible maternity and post-natal services that Northamptonshire has to offer. What a pleasure to meet all the midwives, service providers and mums-to-be in attendance.

We’re delighted to announce we have a new member of staff here at Baby Basics Northampton! Laura joined us recently taking on the role of Fundraising and Communications Coordinator. You’ll likely see her out and about at our charity events and meet ups, so make sure to say hi! 👋
