We are currently at the National Assembly Of The Republic of The Gambia to present our policy brief and position paper on the Women’s (Amendment) Bill 2024, which seeks to repeal the #FGM ban in The Gambia. Our team is led by our President Anna Njie, VP Yassin Senghore and former GBA President Loubna Farage.

Earlier this week, we joined other CSOs led by NGBV-The Gambia to present a health policy brief on #FGM to the National Assembly Of The Republic of The Gambia Joint Committee of Health & Gender.

We also presented our position paper on the socio-economic implications of FGM.
