A2: honoring them with a celebration is a great way to say thanks. We always held a Grandparents Day, a Veterans Day, a volunteer appreciation breakfast at our school. We also sent care pkgs to active-duty soldiers every year. #buildhopeedu

A1: Heroes are ordinary people who do extraordinary things, our teachers, faith leaders, service men and women. But really anyone can be a hero and come to the rescue; we just need to look around for opportunities to serve. And be grateful when heroes find us! #buildhopeedu
