Well-behaved dogs on short leads are more than welcome to visit with you. They are allowed to explore all outdoor areas. Plus, there is lots of outside seating at the tea-room where you and your dog can sit together.

Have you visited Park Mill? It dates back to 1750 and in Kipling’s day, it was used to power hydro-electric turbines which generated electricity for the house.

It’s been lovely welcoming you all to Bateman’s for our Easter trail. Due to incredible demand, we have now run out of Easter eggs. However, the trail will still be running for free until 14 April with activities to enjoy, inspired by The Jungle Book.

Learn a new skill this May with our introduction to calligraphy workshops. You'll be taught how to use modern dip-pen calligraphy to create stationary in the setting of Bateman's.
