2 years ago the amazing scientific discovery of a supercolony of bats was made public👇
It is at very major risk from the NWL; and also at risk from the A47 dualling close-by &this is part of my legal challenges

Did you watch BBC Countryfile on Sunday?

The episode featured a report on the proposed road, and the unacceptable impact it'd have on Norfolk's barbastelle bat colonies.

2. Eagle Owl is a species of conservation concern in the region but their presence at the site has not been confirmed since 2016 despite several field surveys. In an early test of using the Acoustic Pipeline to detect birds, BTO scientists designed algorithms to detect owl calls

End of an era. Big thanks to all BTO for my lovely send-off today after 25 yrs. Feel very lucky to have been part of such a superb organisation, and to have worked with so many brilliant colleagues, partners and volunteers. Leaving the staff, but will still be a member & vol!

The bat survey is currently cancelled for 2020 due to the situation with COVID-19. It is quite unlikely it will be possible to carry out any bat recording this year. We will continue to monitor the situation.
