Today I met with the Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Shakiyev. Discussed the 🇦🇿-🇰🇬cooperation agenda. Noted good prospects of improving the interaction between Parliaments, including support to each other's positions on inter-parliamentary level.

Within my visit to Ata-Beyit Memorial we paid a tribute to the great Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov.

He left a prominent legacy not only in Kyrgyz culture & history, but also was a beloved person in Azerbaijan.

Within  #NES2024 , met with Andrew Bowie MP, Minister in Department for Energy Security & Net Zero.

Emphasised the importance of further enhancing our energy cooperation in the field of renewables.

Informed about COP29 AZ initiatives to advance climate action.
