It’s #AlienDay today and an opportunity to give thanks to the late Bolaji Badejo (1953-1992) who played the Alien in Ridley Scott’s 1979 masterpiece.

Bolaji was approached by casting director Peter Archer in a bar in Soho...he was 6ft 10”, very slender and perfect for the role.
