Enter Medicare Advantage (MA). MA firms are private companies that get a lump sum from traditional Medicare to deal with all care for a patient. MA is really interested in keeping costs down; if they save a dollar, they make a dollar.

“Medicare Advantage is neither Medicare nor an advantage.

It is a scam promoted by large insurance companies like UnitedHealth hiding behind the name of a trusted program.”
