The Total Solar Eclipse is now a mere 2 days and 4 hours away (but who's counting)! While there is still time for expectations to change, anticipated high pressure over the East Coast is increasing the likelihood in mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies across the region.

Six years today the hockey world was devastated when 16 souls perished in the Humboldt Broncos tragedy. We continue to remember the legacy of those lost and pay tribute to the families who persevere.

We have some bad news for those in search of snow. Our snowfall forecast has lowered for Thu/Fri in favor of freezing drizzle instead. 😭 The only good news is that we expect the forecast ice accumulations to be very light, and mainly on elevated surfaces.

Lake effect snow will develop today and last into Monday, accumulating 1-2 feet northeast of the lakes. Snow bands will oscillate, impacting different locations at different times. Near zero visibility in snow and blowing snow will make travel extremely difficult in snow bands.
