Aside from being one of the prettiest footpaths in Bristol (and lending its name to a 2017 Helen Dunmore novel) Birdcage Walk in Clifton is actually the churchyard of St Andrews Church.
The church itself was gutted by a German incendiary bomb in 1940 and demolished in 1954.
