The Benner Elementary PTA brought in the Bloomsburg Theatre for a performance last week. The students loved the event and thoroughly enjoyed the performance!

Yesterday was Paraprofessionals Appreciation Day! At BASD, we so very grateful for our paraprofessional staff. You all do so much behind the scenes for our students and teachers. We can't thank you enough!

Earlier in the month at Bellefonte Elementary, students that earned their PBIS reward, got to work with Miss D’Ambrosia to create Banana Pianos! They had such a fun time with this activity!

This Friday is Bellefonte Elementary School's annual Lip Sync event! Everyone is invited to attend and the doors open at 6:00PM. Check out the flyer for suggested donation items to use as your 'ticket' for the door. Hope to see you there on Friday!

ATTENTION

First Grade at Benner Elementary celebrated the 101st Day of first Grade. Students were able to dress like they were 101 years old and participate in some fun activities!

On February 22nd students, teachers, parents, staff, and volunteers gathered at the high school for a tournament to celebrate our Unified Bocce team. The competition was fierce and all had fun!

February 15th is the National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day. We are so very grateful for Officers Brett Hanlon, Mike Lyons, Shawn Luse for helping to keep our students, staff, and campuses safe!

The Bellefonte Area School District will be operating on a 2 hour delay schedule for 2/13/24. Stay tuned for updates.

The BAMS Life Skills class held their Annual Winter Dance on February 2nd. Students from Penns Valley and Bald Eagle also got to join in on the fun!

This week is National School Counselors Week! Thank you to our amazing school counselors that do so much for our students - every single day! We appreciate you!

Students in Mr. Rager’s classroom, had the chance this past month to work with Miss D’Ambrosia on STEM activities. They very much enjoyed it!

Bellefonte Area School District will be CLOSED on Fri, January 19, 2024. This is not a Flexible Instructional Day. It will be required to be made up in the future. Enjoy the snow day and be safe!

In December, FBLA traveled to South Hills Business School and Technology for the Regional Leadership Conference. 31 students qualified for the State Competition! Attached are the results of those that qualified.

The Bellefonte Area School District will be operating on a 2 Hour Delay for Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Families will be updated if the status should change.
