Very sad to hear Don Perlin passed away at 94. He was one of the first artists I met at a local show in the mid-1980s.

Don was the first artist I ever engaged at length at a con. It was Boston, 1982, and he had some wonderful encouragement and advice for the then 19 year old me. His words and time meant the world to me. And still do.

My condolences to Don’s family and all who loved him.

My love language is comic books.
