At last week’s #KidicalMass , we asked for ideas and priorities for better streets for North Tyneside - here are a few of the suggestions (from riders of all ages).

- Cycle paths on every street, separated from motor vehicles
- Wider pavements for pedestrians

Hero of the night — present in a few of my slides — was Labourstone Ten years of holding firm in Waltham Forest Council Political leadership in creating happier, more liveable neighbourhoods is critical. Takes time, can be a rough ride. Hold firm.

A point repeatedly made was that public realm improvement consultations hear from adults but never children. That needs to be fixed. Kids are the future, and they need cleaner air and safer streets NOW!
